John Faucher, 41, pleaded guilty this week to one count of possession of contraband in a federal prison dating back to an incident on March 12, when he possessed “an object designed or intended to be used as a weapon.”
Faucher had been serving a 46-month sentence for robbing a convenience store in Manchester, New Hampshire in September 2016 and a bank the next month. According to John Durham, the United States Attorney for the District of Connecticut, Faucher faces a maximum of five more years in prison when he is sentenced on Oct. 3.
